Animated Video: Balancing Freedom and Alignment in Self-Managing Organizations

Within self-managing organizations, there's always the tension between the excitement of freedom and the necessity of alignment. Without managers to foster alignment (read: suppress freedom), it's important to find a way to get the best of both. Successful self-managing organizations have a solution for this, and it has to do with an 'operating rhythm'.

Find your operating rhythm

Nearly all successful self-managing organizations rely on a 'organizational heartbeat'. The 'pulse' of the organization keeps teams and individuals aligned while enjoying a high amount of autonomy.

One of the latest courses we created dives deep into this topic. It explores how several progressive organizations organize their operating rhythm.

As with all our other courses, we've created a video animation to explain the concept in a simple way.

Here it is:

Become a member

If you want:

  • more explanation videos like these,
  • an extensive collection of courses on self-managing organizations,
  • monthly live sessions with pioneering organizations and their founders,
  • and a global community of 1,200+ rebels,

we strongly advise you to become a paid member of Corporate Rebels.

Here's an overview of the membership, what it costs, and what you get.

See you there!
