Recording: How We Buy Companies And Transform Them Into A Force For Good

Buying companies and transforming them into a force for good. That's what we do with our company Krisos. Last week, we organized a webinar in which we shared the ups, downs, challenges, and success at the first company we bought.

The company we bought last year is Indaero. It operates in the aerospace and medical sectors (with Airbus as a main customer in the former). With more than 50 years in the market, Indaero has designed and manufactured protective equipment, flight simulators, mechanical boxes and interior equipment.

Sharing our approach

In the webinar, we were joined by Darío (former owner and CEO), Julian (Indaero's youngest staff member), and Dunia (co-founder of Krisos and the person coordinating the transformation from our side).

We talked about how we:

  • Replace 5 layers of hierarchy with 7 self-managing teams
  • Run an entirely bossless organization
  • Remove status symbols & privileges
  • Create full financial transparency
  • Implement a more balanced (and fully transparent) salary model
  • Replace top-down with shared decision-making
  • Introduce profit sharing for all

And of course, we talk about the personal challenges of working in a bossless organization.

A force for good

Through Krisos, we put into practice the most impactful transformation approach we have researched over the years.

Doing so, we show the power of this radically progressive way of working for people, for organizations, and for society.

Some of the results so far?

  • Salaries have been increased 24% (on average)
  • Personal development is taking off, with lots of training and learning going on
  • 25% of profits are distributed among all co-workers
  • Vacation days have gone from 21 to 30 days
  • Teams have been set up to drive bold efforts in sustainability and ethics
  • We planned to have 50% more returns in 2024
  • Just a few months in, we're 180% ahead of those ambitious plans
  • January and February the company achieved record sales
  • Number of people has grown 20%
  • Company valuation is up 31%
